Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year as a QA Technician or 2 years’ experience in a related position
  • Basic computer knowledge (i.e. Microsoft Office, Excel)
  • Detail-oriented, quality and safety focused
  • Strong verbal, written, organizational, diplomacy, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to communicate in written and spoken English
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or technical training in related field
  • Familiarity with cGMP pharmaceutical printing or packaging industry

Responsibilities

  • Reads and interprets job jacket instructions and customer requirement sheets.
  • Examines product to customer requirements/specifications in relation to visual appearance and converting structural functions.
  • Verifies product quality and signs off on beginning production runs.
  • Conducts product line sampling according to plan.
  • Performs quality rounds on all production areas.
  • Demonstrates clear understanding of quality procedures and safety awareness.
  • Communicates findings and generates reports upon request.
  • Reviews non-conforming material to meet customer specifications.
  • Completes forms as required by procedure.
  • Performs visual comparator analysis checks.
  • Inputs information into batch records to reflect document defects.
  • Performs random sampling based on company and/or customer requirements.
  • Completes customer request for press sheets and/or samples to be included and/or mailed ahead of shipment.
  • Reconciles final inspection documentation for shipping.
  • Writes and/or reviews standard operating procedures and work instructions as required.
