About The Position

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Nurse RN to support our quality assurance and performance improvement efforts and help ensure we continue to meet the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. This is an in-office position, providing the opportunity to work closely with our clinical and leadership teams.

Requirements

• Current, valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of five (5) years of recent nursing experience; home health experience strongly preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify areas for improvement
• Knowledge of Medicare requirements, home health regulations, and clinical documentation standards preferred
• Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Conducting random patient record reviews to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant documentation
• Performing clinical and documentation audits to ensure adherence to Medicare, regulatory, and agency requirements
• Reviewing patient care to assess appropriateness, effectiveness, and quality of services provided
• Participating in quality assurance activities related to infection control, incident reports, and corporate compliance
• Assisting with responses to Additional Development Requests (ADRs), CMS reviews, and other regulatory audits
• Managing Medicare appeal requests, including reconsiderations and hearings
• Supporting new employee orientation and education related to Medicare requirements, clinical documentation, and regulatory standards
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and collaborating with leadership and clinical staff to promote quality patient outcomes
• Maintaining knowledge of current home health regulations, Medicare requirements, and quality standards
