The Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) is focused on maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations and provides leadership oversight to operations in meeting their goals, ensuring safety and satisfaction for individuals supported. This role involves implementing and monitoring operational systems and processes to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, conducting operational reviews, and preparing detailed summary reports of quality assurance findings. The QAM also serves as a record keeper for State/Federal Survey documentation, coordinates corrective actions, and works with leadership to develop and implement Quality Improvement Plans. They are responsible for developing and implementing internal quality practices, providing recommendations for quality improvement, and communicating effectively with management and staff. Additionally, the QAM reviews satisfaction survey data, coordinates and conducts investigations, oversees Critical Incident Reporting and Mortality Review processes, chairs the Quality & Safety Committee, and coordinates internal activities for external accreditation standards. Maintaining certifications for company signature programs and supervising entry-level QA positions are also key responsibilities.
