About The Position

We take a comprehensive approach by offering more than 160 integrated programs in: Education & Youth Development, Family Support, Job Training & Employment Support Services, Health, Housing, and Legal Services. The Quality Assurance Department supports CAMBA’s supportive housing portfolio by ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting high-quality service delivery across all housing programs. The department is responsible for monitoring program performance, conducting audits, identifying risks, and supporting continuous quality improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.A., B.S.W.)
  • At least 1 year of Quality Assurance Experience
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of supportive housing services operations
  • As a Mandated Reporter, you must immediately report suspected incidents/cases abuse and neglect to the Vulnerable Persons Central Register (VPCR) Hotline at 1-855-373-2122 and complete a CAMBA Incident Report
  • Obtain “Criminal History Checks” (CHC) fingerprinting through the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) and the Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs (Justice System) and Staff Exclusion List (SEL) clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain professional relationships and confidentiality.
  • Comply with all Federal, State, City, and CAMBA policies.
  • Conduct audits of client files including assessments, ILPs, progress notes, and incident reports.
  • Review documentation to ensure compliance with required timelines and standards.
  • Identify documentation deficiencies and compliance issues.
  • Track and monitor corrective action items and follow-up activities.
  • Maintain QA tracking logs and audit tools.
  • Assist in preparing programs for audits and monitoring visits.
  • Provide feedback to program staff and leadership regarding audit findings.
  • Support QA Manager in implementing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze audit results to identify trends across sites and programs.
  • Utilize databases such as AWARDS, HMIS, or other systems to review and verify data.
  • Participate in meetings as requested.
  • Tasks may be modified, expanded and/or assigned over time.
