About The Position

In the role of Manager - Quality Assurance working in Golden, CO you will be part of the Rocky Mountain Metal Company Quality Assurance team. You will direct and supervise the development and implementation of all quality assurance activities for each process step and phase of can and/or end production, while developing a proactive approach to the identification and prevention of problems affecting the quality of processes and products. This position reports to the General Plant Manager and works closely with RMMC leadership.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in business, science, or engineering.
  • You have at least 5+ years of experience in quality control/assurance.
  • 5+ years in high-speed manufacturing preferred.
  • Can manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Experience with quality systems including SPC and lean methodologies required.
  • You love a challenge, completing complex projects quickly and adeptly with an understanding of business priorities.
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome.

Nice To Haves

  • AQS Quality Manager/Engineer certification preferred.
  • Lean certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 5 talented colleagues, supporting their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations.
  • Drive quality systems implementation, training, execution, and verification across all aspects of can manufacturing.
  • Implement and improve quality metrics and measurement systems.
  • Define supplier quality requirements and/or work closely with Molson Coors Corp. QA to ensure incoming raw material meets or exceeds specifications.
  • Provide process and product technical expertise and knowledge, building individual capability across the team.
