About The Position

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead at San Miguel Produce in Oxnard, California. The role monitors the overall quality of ready-to-eat vegetables from raw material through finished product and ensures that appropriate samples are collected and evaluated. It also monitors food safety and quality records during production. The position reports to the FSQA Assistant Manager and is on the swing shift. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General computer skills.
• Prior knowledge of food safety, quality control testing, safety, and related duties.
• Ability to work overtime depending on business needs, including nights and weekends if needed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, with the ability to speak, read, and write in both languages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic quality management systems.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
