Quality Assurance Lead

About The Position

Noblis is seeking a Quality Assurance Team Lead for the NIEF. This role involves managing a team of Quality Assurance analysts to ensure component delivery compliance and recommend acceptance by the government. The lead will be responsible for developing and presenting quality and status reports to senior leadership, training new team members, interviewing candidates, and coordinating with various functional leads. A key part of the role includes developing complex reports on configurations, deficiencies, and changes, as well as detailed configuration drawings such as TDPs, IRDs, Topology, and installation diagrams. The position also requires analyzing as-built drawings for compliance, conducting physical inspections and operational testing, documenting system upgrades, and evaluating performance specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years of experience OR Associate's Degree + 8 years of experience OR High School + 11 years of experience (in progressive jobs demonstrating independent analysis, interpreting drawings, creating documentation and drawing, mechanical engineering design, and quality assurance).
  • Experience in leading or managing a team performing complex work.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Experience in interviewing and hiring staff.
  • Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in SolidWorks and Microsoft Suite.
  • Must have demonstrated electrical experience including determining electrical cable requirements, power consumption and operations.
  • Must possess networking experience in determining networking operations, communication, and connectivity for all cable types including CAT5 and Fiber.
  • Physical requirements (ability to lift 50Ibs)
  • Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Must be a US citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Possess a detailed experience in the different phases of network design at Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific
  • Experience in DoD and Navy Military specifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 4+ Quality Assurance analysts in the determination of compliance of component delivery and recommendation for government acceptance.
  • Review and approve timecards.
  • Responsible for developing and presenting briefs on quality, status and execution to senior government and company leads.
  • Train all new QA team members in the requirements of the program, all drawing types, the system variants, and the physical design.
  • Interview all candidates to support the QA team.
  • Coordinate with all functional leads including, contractor and government for warehouse, PITCO and production.
  • Develop complex reports detailing configurations, deficiencies, and required changes.
  • Develop, review, and redline detailed configuration drawings including TDPs, IRDs, Topology and installation diagrams.
  • Analyze the as-built drawings delivered from the full deployment vendors for compliance with system design, conduct physical inspection, operational testing to including data and electrical transport and create or update system design drawings for final shipboard delivery.
  • Conduct analysis of electrical implementation based on drawings program specifications.
  • Document all postproduction system upgrade to conform with system baseline including updated hardware, electronic or cabling components.
  • Develop and/or updated configuration documents and drawings including cable tables, port assignments and electronic design.
  • Evaluate all performance specifications including cable types, connectors, and connections.
  • Develop and deliver configuration report to include recommended changes, operational status, upgrades required and system suitability.
