About The Position

At RBC AeroStructures, quality is what keeps aircraft flying safely around the world. We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector who takes pride in precision, problem-solving, and ensuring every part meets the highest standards. As our Quality Assurance Inspector, you'll be responsible for ensuring products meet customer, engineering, and regulatory requirements through inspection, measurement, and documentation activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of quality inspection experience
• Experience managing and maintaining calibration systems
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
• Proficiency using inspection and measuring equipment
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to meet vision requirements and work safely in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

• Aerospace manufacturing experience
• CMM experience
• Associate degree in a related field

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the gage calibration system
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
• Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, height gages, and related inspection equipment
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing routers
• Identify and communicate quality concerns, nonconforming materials, and process issues
• Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and maintain accurate quality documentation
• Support customer audits and interact professionally with customer representatives
• Assist with troubleshooting quality-related issues and continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
