About The Position

Price Electronics, a division of Price Industries, is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for their evening shift. This role involves inspecting printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and cable assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards. Responsibilities include maintaining inspection records, addressing audit issues, handling defective materials, and contributing to problem-solving through root cause analysis and improvement initiatives. The position operates on a 4-day work week, Monday to Thursday, from 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM, with two paid 15-minute breaks per shift.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner.
Proficient working with inspection tools: microscope, magnifier, caliper, micrometer.

Nice To Haves

IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 / IPCWHMA-A-620 certification an asset.
Experience in operating/programming Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) an asset.
Experience with ISO9001:2015 and/or ISO13485:2016 Quality Management Systems an asset.

Responsibilities

In-process and final inspection of printed circuit boards / assemblies (PCB / PCBAs), cable assemblies according to the quality, performance, and acceptance criteria defined by IPC-A-610 / IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards and other manufacturing drawings/documents.
Maintain inspection records utilizing many different electronic information systems.
Assist in the resolution of audit findings, observations, and recommendations.
Assist with the control and disposition of non-conforming material (MRB).
Assist with the resolution to internal/external nonconformance using root cause, corrective action, and 8D methodologies.
Other duties as assigned.
