About The Position

Quality Assurance Inspector Job Responsibilities: Understand & reinforce Quality Assurance standards and audit procedures. Inspect product, including base vehicle, installed accessories, and other added materials (ex: manuals and brochures). Audit processes, policies, and procedures both established by Toyota and SET. Communicate inspection and audit findings to appropriate parties. Through teamwork and collaboration, work closely with other Quality associates to ensure all areas are following process. Generate reports to effectively communicate with Toyota and parts suppliers that accurately identify quality concerns. Input and transfer data into multiple systems and applications. Provide support for quality hold activities (TMNA and SET). Job Requirement: Quality mindset with the ability to make decisions regarding quality standards. Strong organizational skills required. Associate’s current quality scores should be no less than 100% of home shop expectation. Excellent attendance record with demonstrated reliability in the workplace. Experience in multiple departments/shops is preferred. Automotive Electrical, Mechanical and/or Production experience in service or vehicle maintenance preferred. ASE Certifications and/or College Degree preferred. Willingness to work overtime (weekdays or Saturdays) as needed and demonstrate flexibility in addressing job duties and assignments. Commitment to the organization and demonstrate initiative in following through on tasks. Strong problem solving, interpersonal skills and communication skills (verbal & written) to effectively communicate quality issues to associates about their work in a considerate and professional manner while maintaining positive relationships. Demonstrated ability to work independently, with little supervision and make educated decisions. Computer experience required to include intermediate experience in Microsoft Word & Excel. Ability to work outdoors, in non-climate-controlled environments and preparedness to adapt to changing weather conditions. Daily responsibilities include working on concrete and asphalt surfaces, standing and walking, full range of motion required to inspect and assess all types of vehicles. Valid driver’s license required; clean Motor Vehicle Record, ability to drive manual transmission vehicles preferred. Willingness to rotate between vehicle processing facilities in Jacksonville as needed. Overnight travel may be required on occasion. Candidates must be willing/able to work the 1st shift hours at our Westlake or Talleyrand VPC Monday – Friday / 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Overtime will be scheduled based on production needs.
