About The Position

Help ensure excellence at every step as a Quality Assurance Inspector at Ortho Molecular Products. In this vital role, you’ll protect product integrity by performing hands‑on, on-the-floor inspections that keep our manufacturing processes safe, compliant, and consistently audit‑ready. This is a 1st Shift Position: Monday – Thursday 8:00am - 6:00pm in Stevens Point, WI.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred qualifications include a BS/BA in a related science field or an Associate degree in Quality Assurance, along with experience in scientific or regulatory industries (e.g., manufacturing, dietary supplements).
  • Basic knowledge of quality systems and/or quality auditing
  • Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices cGMP, Regulations 21 CFR Part 111
  • ASQ certification desirable
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (includes Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), experience in SharePoint, and ERP systems desired

Responsibilities

  • Conduct line clearance and pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment, rooms, and components are properly prepared
  • Review of GMP documentation (i.e., batch paperwork) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or deviations, ensuring resolution before product release
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing operators and supervisors to resolve deviations or issues
  • Assist in the development of corrective and preventative actions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, ensuring all steps are completed and deviations reported properly
  • Identify and report defective products or materials, working closely with production team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Operate in a safe manner while performing all duties including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Perform in-process checks and inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure the components and products are being produced according to specifications.
