The Quality Assurance Inspector is primarily responsible for examining bottles during and after production to ensure they meet quality standards. This role involves identifying defects, documenting inspection results, and communicating findings to the Quality Assurance team to support continuous improvement and compliance with company standards. Pay Range: $21.00 per hour Hours: 1st shift: 5:00 am – 3:00 pm 2nd shift: 2:00 pm – 12:00 am Schedule: Monday - Friday + every other Saturday (Must be willing to work OT and Weekends) Location: Westlake, OH Travel Requirements: None Work Environment: Production environment within a manufacturing facility Additional information: This is an in-house temporary position aligned with a temp-to-hire process. While a permanent role may become available, conversion is not guaranteed and will depend on business needs, performance, and attendance. Benefits eligibility begins after 90 days.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and legible documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent relevant field experience
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or quality inspection

Responsibilities

  • Examine bottles for visual and physical defects (e.g., cracks, chips, contamination, irregular shapes, improper sealing).
  • Verify that bottles meet established specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct routine checks at designated intervals during production runs.
  • May perform other duties as required.
