Quality Assurance Inspector - Night Shift

About The Position

The Quality Assurance Inspector has the responsibility to inspect, accept, or reject work performed in a particular discipline in compliance with applicable codes and specifications. This role actively supports the company’s commitment to safety and its values, requiring observation and adherence to all safety procedures and regulations. The inspector will perform inspections, witness tests, and prepare reports and quality records in compliance with procedures. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all code-endorsed inspection stamps and meeting industry standards is crucial. The position also involves assisting the QA Manager with record-keeping and communicating quality and specification issues and recommendations to the management team, including production, engineering, and applications.

Requirements

Associate degree in quality assurance or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge in electrical and assembly preferred.
Minimum 5 years demonstrated work experience.
NDE level 2 certs. MT, PT & Film Interpretation.
Experience with section VIII Div.1 codes.
Familiar with D1.1, B31.1 & B31.3.
Familiar with section I codes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

Nice To Haves
