Quality Assurance 2 reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and performs duties associated with the administration of the quality assurance provisions of contracts by designing, implementing, and maintaining documentation control. This role involves writing checkpoints, checking TIPs (Testing and Inspection Procedures), call outs, understanding specifications, and understanding standard items. The position requires familiarity with NAVSEA Standard Items, filling out and calling out inspections/checkpoints, attending onsite checkpoints after shadowing senior team members, following documentation control procedures, and creating/reviewing Formal Work Packages (FWP) using templates. Additionally, the role includes conducting surveillances after completing Workmanship Training and executing quality control measures after completing QCI Training.
