About The Position

Work with suppliers to address quality issues, approve new parts, and improve supplier quality performance for Banjo. Identify and drive key supplier performance metrics and develop suppliers as an extension of Banjo. Support production quality activities to improve overall quality performance. The position also supports quality management and cross-functional departments, helps introduce new products into production, and maintains quality documentation and processes in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working in ISO 9001 facilities.
Ability to multitask and deliver expected results.
Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
Experience with CMM programming and operations or similar CNC experience.
Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Access, and ERP systems.
Demonstrated responsibility, respect, dependability, patience, and productivity.
Influential leadership skills to keep the team focused and prioritized.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of applying SPC techniques to make processes more robust.
Knowledge of GD&T.

Responsibilities

Manage supplier quality performance, reporting, and issues affecting overall performance.
Conduct supplier part approvals and supplier audits.
Drive root cause analysis, problem solving, and corrective actions for quality issues.
Maintain accurate 8D records to support corrective actions and reporting.
Determine disposition of rejected materials, components, and devices.
Identify, collect, and evaluate data to make data-driven decisions using statistical methods.
Implement CMM measurement programs and train technicians to execute them.
Support Quality management as needed for effective department functionality.
Create and maintain procedures, work instructions, and forms to meet ISO 9001 requirements.
Maintain quality documents, including control plans, PFMEA, flow diagrams, and work instructions.
Support cross-training of QA technicians for seamless operations.
Assist with ECN implementation as needed.
Work with cross-functional departments to improve quality.
Produce reports or procedures as needed to optimize operations.
Assist with introducing new products into production to ensure high quality.
Cross-train and mentor team members on ISO 9001 requirements.
Participate in training made available by the company as part of self-development.
Participate in and support Rapid Improvement Events and Kaizen activities.
Perform other assignments given by management.
