About The Position

Ulbrich Specialty Wire Products, located in Westminster, SC., is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer. This position plays a key role in creating and managing document control techniques, strengthening customer/supplier relations, and the strategically analyzing internal/supplier process/systems.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in a science, engineering, or a technical field is preferred
Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience in quality management, quality engineering, or six sigma application
Effective communication skills – verbal, written, presentation
Intermediate skills with MS Office

Nice To Haves

Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or Quality Engineer preferred
Experience in an AS9100 or ISO-9001 environment
Statistical data analysis and problem solving ability
Ability to interpret customer specifications and manufacturing requirements
Team building ability through all levels and areas of the organization
General understanding of performance management requirements (KPIs)

Responsibilities

Maintaining the accuracy of certifications and specifications
Generating, maintaining, and submitting documents associated with PPAP packages (PFO, FMEA, SPC, and Gage R&R documents)
Managing documentation preparation for customer on-site source inspections
Assisting the Quality Manager with the implementation and maintenance of an ISO-9001 or AS-9100 approved quality management system
Functioning as primary point of contact relative to customer complaints pertaining to documentation and compliance of specification
Acting as the Lead Auditor for internal and supplier audits
Implementing continuous improvement (A3) and corrective action (8D) requirements
