Quality Assurance Engineer II
About The Position
This role focuses on developing and maintaining automated test scripts using AI technologies for web/mobile and/or backend applications. The engineer will leverage AI-powered testing tools to generate, optimize, and maintain test cases and test data, while also performing targeted manual testing for story verification. Collaboration with the engineering team to understand requirements and provide early feedback on design and implementation is key. The position involves creating detailed test plans and cases, identifying and tracking defects, reviewing quality documentation, and analyzing data to prevent defects. Applying Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and promoting agile principles are also important aspects of this role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 5+ years of strong experience in QA/testing and quality engineering
- Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies

- Playwright (Preferred), Cypress, Selenium or similar.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts utilizing AI technologies for Web/mobile and/or backend applications
- Leverage AI-powered testing tools to generate, optimize, and maintain test cases and test data
- Perform targeted manual testing when needed and for story verification
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand requirements and provide early feedback on Design and Implementation
- Create detailed, comprehensive test plans and cases
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects
- Review design plans, process procedures, and quality manuals
- Maintain quality records and compliance documentation
- Analyze data to identify trends and prevent defects
- Recommend and implement corrective actions
- Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools and methodologies for problem-solving
- Work closely with development, product and operations teams
- Promote agile principles: adaptability, transparency, iterative development
