About The Position

The Quality Assurance Coordinator supports the Lux Windows facility production line inspection by verification that QA processes are being followed. This role involves monitoring the production inspection process for compliance with approved methods, including auditing QA Checklists, and reviewing inspection documents for adherence to standard operating procedures. The coordinator will communicate defect issues to management and support production teams in correcting non-conformances. Additionally, they will provide training for production team members, verify material specifications, and ensure QA traveling documents are complete. The role also includes assisting with maintaining QA information boards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to read and comprehend instruction.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Problem Solving; identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
  • Attendance/Punctuality; is consistently at work and on time.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Communicates clearly/concisely with Team Members.
  • Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans; uses time efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the production inspection process for compliance with approved methods including audit of all QA Checklists
  • Review inspections documents to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Update Production Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager and Team Members on any defect issues.
  • Support Production Manager, Team Leaders, and Team Members of each department on correcting non-conformances.
  • Provide training, as needed, for certification of production team members.
  • Verify materials for specifications, listings, and storage.
  • Check QA traveling documents for completeness and then sign at the completion of the production process.
  • Assist with maintaining QA information boards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
