Quality Assurance - Continuous Improvement Analyst

About The Position

We're looking for a Continuous Improvement Analyst to help drive operational excellence across our manufacturing facilities. This role combines data analysis, Lean manufacturing, project leadership, and hands-on problem solving to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost. You'll work closely with leaders, supervisors, and frontline employees to identify opportunities, lead improvement initiatives, and build a culture focused on continuous improvement. Requirements

2+ years of experience in Operations, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, or a related field
Experience leading or supporting Lean Manufacturing initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and presentation skills
Comfortable coaching employees at all levels of the organization
Ability to influence change without direct authority
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Experience analyzing production and operational data
Ability to develop reports, dashboards, and presentations
Familiarity with statistical analysis and performance metrics

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field
Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement experience
Manufacturing or aerospace industry experience
Experience with value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and process improvement methodologies
Power BI, data visualization, or AI experience
Project management experience

Responsibilities

Partner with the Continuous Improvement Manager to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities
Lead and support Lean initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, 3P, TPM, and DMAIC projects
Conduct time studies and process observations to improve productivity and workflow
Analyze manufacturing data and develop recommendations to improve performance
Support SQDE boards and daily management systems
Monitor customer and employee feedback to identify improvement opportunities
Facilitate value stream mapping activities and develop improvement roadmaps
Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams and improvement events
Develop and track KPIs to measure project effectiveness and sustainability
Support new process implementation and change management efforts
Create and maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), SOPs, and process documentation
Train and mentor employees on Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
Work with operations, quality, engineering, and leadership teams to achieve business goals
Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
