About The Position

Quality Assurance & Compliance Analyst Full Time Chicago, IL National Able Network, a dynamic and growing nonprofit agency specializing in the delivery of innovative employment and training programs, has an immediate opening for an experienced full time social service professional to assist with the administration. The Quality Assurance & Compliance Analyst will assist the Compliance Director and staff with the execution of internal program compliance monitoring, providing technical guidance, and as assigned, perform other special projects and support activities.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize patterns, anticipate consequences, and identify creative solutions to problems.
  • Experience writing well-developed audit findings and recommendations.
  • Experience presenting strong oral and written arguments to internal and external parties.
  • Works independently; prioritizes and manages multiple tasks; demonstrate consistent reliable follow through and consistently meets deadlines.
  • Knowledge of data analysis practices preferred.
  • Knowledge of government contracts and regulations preferred.
  • Knowledge of workforce development programs preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in a compliance role or other comparable role (auditing, monitoring, and/or quality assurance).
  • Due to the nature of the position, domestic travel may be required to prepare for or conduct audits.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine compliance audits as per established process/guidelines, including assessing program adherence to policies and regulations.
  • Partner with program staff to design remediation procedures and collaborate with management on written manager responses to external auditors.
  • Monitor program staff’s implementation of remediation activities to ensure timely closure of monitoring findings.
  • Provide technical assistance and assistance in the development and writing of Agency policies and processes.
  • Periodically assist with the assessment of operational, strategic, regulatory and contract compliance risks and development of the annual compliance plan.
  • Support the organization’s control environment by maintaining objective positioning while being an internal advocate for quality programming and continuous process improvement.
  • Maintain knowledge of the interpretation of federal and state regulations and policy development and interpret their impact and the consequences for programs.
