Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), Physical Therapist (PT), Or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
  • Required Credentials: HCS-D and COS-C or HCS-O
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks timely
  • Demonstrate high level of contribution in accuracy, quality, completeness and volume of work
  • Service oriented mindset
  • Adaptive problem-solving skills
  • Valid Driver's License (clean record) & reliable transportation.
  • Proof of current auto insurance & car registration
  • Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help)
  • Current CPR Certification (we can help) & Negative TB Test (we can test)
  • All Aegis Healthcare employees must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of home health, hospice, or other medical related experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough reviews of clinical and chart documentation to ensure compliance with Aegis policies, state and federal regulations, and payor requirements.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives based on data analysis and identified trends. Monitor the effectiveness of these initiatives.
  • Provide training and guidance to clinical staff on documentation best practices, compliance standards, and quality improvement processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to relevant regulatory bodies. Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and ensure the organization's compliance.
  • Work closely with the Director of Quality Assurance and other department heads to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Lead and participate in quality assurance projects aimed at improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
