About The Position
The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for ensuring accuracy and quality control in outbound shipments. This role involves scanning shipments, complying with established procedures, communicating issues to management, identifying damaged items, performing operational checks, inspecting outbound products, and documenting audit results. The auditor will also communicate with management and associates daily, maintain inventory counts in assigned areas, and keep a log of quality control activities. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

- Ability to be trained on forklifts, if required
- Ability to read and interpret documents, including protocols, standard operating procedures, customer orders, and pick tickets
- Written and oral communication skills in English are required
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Nice To Haves
- Some college preferred but not required
- Hazardous Material Handling Certification or Training preferred
Responsibilities
- Scan outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and quality control
- Ensure and comply with all procedures established to ensure product is being properly controlled
- Communicate all problems and concerns regarding shipment scanning to management
- Identify damaged items staged in outbound bays
- Perform various operational checks to monitor adherence to company procedures
- Inspect outbound products for quality assurance
- Accurately document results of outbound audits upon completion
- Communicate with management and associates on a daily basis
- Keep count of inventory in assigned areas
- Maintain log of quality control
