As a Behavioral Health Assistant at Horizon, you will… Perform comprehensive clinical quality assurance audits for outpatient and residential programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Conduct utilization reviews to evaluate medical necessity, documentation quality, and fidelity to treatment plans. Prepare written audit findings, summaries, and recommendations for program leadership. Assist in monitoring compliance with OMH and OASAS regulations and agency policies. Maintain accurate records of audits, reviews, and outcomes in accordance with department protocols. Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field with at least 3 years of counseling experience required.
• Current QHP License required or Credential applicable to OMH and OASAS programs, such as: LMSW LMHC LCSW
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
