Quality Assurance Associate I
About The Position
Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services. This role involves meeting quality and productivity metrics, demonstrating teamwork, and reviewing/approving client laboratory reports for accuracy, traceability, and completeness. The associate will evaluate deficiencies, work with staff to correct them, and assist in implementing and monitoring quality systems such as CAPA and change controls. Responsibilities include reviewing documents for regulatory compliance, keeping supervisors informed of issues, learning new tasks, communicating with scientific staff to resolve comments, and completing tasks under speed or productivity quotas. The role also involves effective communication with client staff and conducting all activities safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- A degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science, or other directly related field or degree with comparable coursework is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration
- Reviews and approves/rejects completed client laboratory reports and like records for accuracy, traceability, and completeness.
- Evaluates addressed deficiencies for clarification and for potential impact on compliance status.
- Works with staff to correct any noted deficiencies/inconsistencies.
- Assist with implementation and monitoring of quality systems and procedures (e.g. CAPA, change controls, trainings, etc.)
- Reviews protocols, procedures, data, reports, and other documents to ensure accordance with specified regulatory requirements, protocol, and/or project plan, methods, and SOPs.
- Keeps supervisor informed of significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities.
- Learn new tasks and remember the processes associated with this role.
- Ability to communicate with Scientific staff for resolving comments
- Ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
- Communicates effectively with client staff members
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
