About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining the quality and accuracy of inventory by tracking and identifying freight, conducting audits, inspecting freight and products, researching discrepancies, preparing and analyzing reports, and moving freight manually and with powered equipment. The role also involves providing basic maintenance to equipment. Requirements

  • 6 months experience in Walmart Logistics clerical related responsibilities (e.g., filing, data entry) using computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheet, word processing)
  • OR 1 year's experience in clerical related responsibilities (e.g., filing, data entry) using computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheet, word processing).

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates).
  • Maintain quality and accuracy of inventory by tracking and identifying freight manually or with computer software.
  • Conduct audits on shipments and warehouse cycle schedules.
  • Inspect freight and products for correct quantities and conditions.
  • Research discrepancies.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze reports.
  • Move freight manually and with powered equipment.
  • Provide basic maintenance to equipment (e.g., cleaning, inspecting, changing labels and ribbons).
