Requirements

Proven experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of various machining techniques and tooling.
Basic understanding of CNC programming
In depth understanding of Coordinate Measuring Machines
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to provide leadership and work in a team-oriented environment.
Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., Solidworks) preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist CNC Machinists with onboarding of new parts and projects
Assist CMM programmers with program creation and onboarding of new parts and projects
Assist in trouble shooting machining related issues
Assist in evaluating and reworking non-conforming product
Interpret measurement results and assist with making appropriate process adjustments
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure precise machining operations.
Conduct quality inspections of machined parts to verify conformance to customer requirements and quality standards.
Collaborate with team members and engineering staff to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.
Train operators and help troubleshoot.
