Quality Assurance Analyst – AI & Automation
About The Position
Kings III is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst focused on AI and automation to build and improve QA practices. The role covers manual and automated testing across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios, including testing APIs, databases, integrated business applications, business workflows, and Android tablet applications. The analyst will use AI tools to develop test scenarios, identify edge cases, generate test data, and accelerate automation; use SQL to validate data and investigate issues; and help integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. The role also involves exploratory and risk-based testing, diagnosing failed tests, collaborating with developers and other stakeholders throughout development, reducing manual regression effort, and developing reusable AI-assisted QA practices and automation standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional QA or software testing experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience using generative AI or AI-assisted development/testing tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Codex, or Claude.
- Experience creating and maintaining automated tests.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience testing multiple integrated applications, such as CRM, ERP/financial, and operational or monitoring systems.
- Experience testing Android tablet applications.
- Strong API testing and SQL skills.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD processes, and Agile software development.
- Experience with Jira, GitHub Actions, or comparable development lifecycle tools.
- Ability to understand complex business processes and turn them into meaningful test scenarios.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AccelQ or a comparable commercial test automation platform.
- Experience moving from traditional test automation suites to AI-assisted or agent-based testing.
- Experience designing or using AI testing agents to generate scenarios, run tests, analyze results, or maintain regression coverage.
- Experience creating reusable AI prompts, workflows, or automated testing processes.
- Experience testing .NET, SQL Server, Salesforce, APIs, or enterprise system integrations.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test coverage, manually and through automation.
- Use AI tools to generate test scenarios, identify edge cases, create test data, and accelerate test automation.
- Translate business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and defects into effective test cases.
- Test REST APIs, system integrations, database transactions, and business workflows.
- Verify that data and transactions flow correctly across integrated business applications.
- Test Android tablet applications for functionality, usability, and device-specific behavior.
- Use SQL to validate data, troubleshoot issues, and verify test results.
- Perform exploratory and risk-based testing where automation is not appropriate.
- Help integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Investigate failed tests and determine whether the cause is the application or the automation.
- Partner with developers, project owners, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual regression testing and improve test coverage.
- Help develop reusable AI-assisted QA practices, prompts, and automation standards.
