About The Position
Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support the US Air Force in its enterprise environment. The role is a project team position focused on software testing to confirm that application software meets customer requirements, identify errors, and ensure they are corrected before release to clients. The analyst also validates software development and software already in production, and performs daily validation and operational tasks as required. The position works with software developers and technically minded teammates to investigate and resolve issues, while reporting progress in scheduled meetings and directly to the site manager when necessary. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- At least 2 years of manual software testing experience.
Responsibilities
- Review requirements and design test cases to validate each requirement.
- Provide feedback on requirements.
- Hold reviews for test cases and reports.
- Execute software validation.
- Validate software under development and software released into production.
- Report progress in regularly scheduled meetings and directly to the site manager when necessary.
- Gather and reconcile information from requirements specifications, documented email and phone conversations, design documents, and other sources.
- Perform daily validation and operational tasks as required.
- Identify and analyze issues, and work with software developers to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Create and execute test plans, test scripts, and functional and technical test cases; conduct and oversee various levels of testing.
