About The Position
The Quality Associate will test and inspect products at various stages of the production process. This role compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain the quality and reliability of products. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Basic data entry/computer skills
- Ability to read and comprehend quality tools
- Ability to record measurements from gauges
- Basic use of gauges
- Proficient inspections at either Corporate or EDC
- Able to generate required records
- Basic understanding of manufacturing operations
- Proficient inspections at both Corporate and EDC
- Troubleshooting of quality process with escalation
- Proficient use of gauges
- Proficient computer skills with required software
- Ability to identify potential issues and take action
- Able to validate required records
- Internal auditor
- Proficient knowledge of manufacturing operations
Responsibilities
- Selects products for tests at specified stages in the production process.
- Tests products for a variety of qualities such as dimensions and performance.
- Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
- Evaluates returns from customer complaints.
- Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.
- Places non-conforming products on hold if necessary.
- Conducts final inspection audits.
- Enters data into computer for analysis.
- Files and maintains quality test records.
- Verifies set-up parts for machine adjustments.
- Assists in new product testing development.
