Quality Associate
About The Position
The Quality Associate is responsible for ensuring product quality meets customer requirements through various inspection and documentation processes. This role involves visual inspections, using hand-held equipment, and proper handling and segregation of nonconforming materials. The associate will also be responsible for packing products according to specifications, maintaining a consistent product flow, and adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additionally, the role includes supporting safety, health, and environmental initiatives, performing housekeeping duties, and assisting with training and team goal achievement.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in position-specific SOPs.
- High attention to detail.
- Very customer focused.
- Ability to work in temperatures of extreme hot or cold based on weather conditions.
- Physical ability to sit, walk, stand, push, pull, carry, lift, squat, kneel and/or twist.

Responsibilities
- Ensure product quality meets specifications and customer requirements.
- Perform quality inspections as required, including visual inspections and inspections using hand-held equipment.
- Segregate and properly identify nonconforming or suspect nonconforming material.
- Accurately record nonconforming products by defect electronically and/or manually.
- Pack windows into racks using proper glass handling techniques.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain a constant flow of product for the area line.
- Assist with off-line containment, inspection, and segregation of product if required.
- Ensure Packing Specifications are followed for each part being packed.
- Perform 5S and housekeeping duties to maintain facility cleanliness.
- Fulfill assignments and tasks given.
- Train and encourage others to achieve team goals.
- Support safety, health, and environmental rules and lead by example.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
