This position will provide oversight for laboratory, field, and the Quality Systems Manual (QSM – lab and field). This includes training, development, and operational enhancements in these areas for all of the branches within the region. It will require time at each branch when new hire start. Documentation and guidance throughout the training stage will be a vital tool for tracking progress and increasing technician success. The QSM portion of this role focuses heavily on structuring, organizing, and training in order to streamline processes inside of the QSM. This includes laboratory testing, equipment calibration, SpectraQEST (SQ) training, improving “means and methods” for lab operations, maintaining accreditations, etc. This role will serve under the VP of Quality and Training, as an intermediary to the regional RVP and branch managers. The position communicates updates on implementation and feedback on the training program and materials. This position will share other home branch-office duties. The time split between this position and home branch responsibilities is approximately 50:50 with flexibility depending upon time-sensitive issues arising in either role. Primary responsibility for performing quality and training functions remains with the Branches. The Regional Quality & Training Coordinator will provide a secondary layer of accountability by the branches to perform these functions. The goal of this position is to provide the company with thorough documentation that staff are being consistently trained to perform day-to-day duties, and that each branch is conforming to the company QSM and satisfying the associated accrediting agency requirements. The role is positioned as an asset and resource for the regional branches.
