About The Position

As the Quality and Test Technician, you will perform inspections and tests throughout the process, ensuring defects are caught in-station and quality is built in. You will also have the opportunity to create and execute system level tests for production and development projects.

Requirements

  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Experience in a moderate volume and mix manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in mechanical assembly: shimming, rigging, alignment, and sealant application.
  • Skilled at interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and process specifications.
  • Capable of working independently, meeting takt-time, and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in PPE-required areas.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of fundamental electronics.
  • Experience with test equipment such as voltmeters, data acquisition systems, calipers, load banks and similar instruments to make manual and automated measurements.
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot technical systems and their associated communication interfaces.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical part drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to work safely around high-power electronics and batteries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on system requirements.
  • Conduct mechanical and functional tests; troubleshoot and perform repairs when required.
  • Document test outcomes, deviations, and failure analysis results.
  • Identify and resolve issues in installations to ensure readiness for functional tests.
  • Maintain compliance with OEM engineering, safety, and quality standards in all tasks.
  • Conduct and verify calibration, torquing, bonding, sealing, and fastening to technical processes.
  • Inspect complex assemblies for cosmetic and functional quality acceptance.
  • Perform readiness checks, supporting power-on, leak tests, and power generation preparations.
