About The Position

The TQC Technician supports our quality assurance and testing processes within an aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring all products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and compliance. The TQC Technician will conduct functional tests, inspect assemblies, document findings, and collaborate across departments to support product excellence.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or testing within a manufacturing environment, ideally aerospace, defense, or electronics.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Quality Assurance, or a related technical discipline is highly preferred.
  • Certification, coursework, or knowledge of IPC-A-610, AS9100, or ISO 9001 is preferred.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, test procedures, and technical specifications.
  • Skilled in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, LABVIEW, etc.
  • Experience executing and documenting functional, environmental, and protocols.
  • Working understanding of traceability, configuration management, and document control in a regulated environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and document non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and support corrective/preventive action initiatives (CAPA).
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure based on data and established quality criteria.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in technical reporting, defect logging, and quality documentation practices.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor) and QMS platforms (Agile, Jira) for recording quality data, test results, and work instructions.
  • Experience working in cleanroom or ESD-sensitive environments is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts or overtime as required to support production schedules or testing cycles.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to lift to 30 pounds

  • Due to U.S. export control laws and defense contract requirements, applicants must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder)
  • This position is considered safety-sensitive under FAA regulations and requires the successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. Specific duties include Aircraft maintenance and preventive maintenance, which are considered safety-sensitive functions under FAA Part 120. Employees must maintain a clean drug and alcohol testing record throughout their employment. When requested, the results of drug and alcohol test may be shared with future employers, in accordance with FAA requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional and electrical on incoming products and subassemblies per established procedures and specifications.
  • Perform test, debugging, trouble-shooting on a wide range of RF amplifiers, PCBA, DC/RF electronics, and/or subcomponents as required.
  • Complete test documentation, work order travelers, logging of troubles/issues, etc. of completed products.
  • Inspect and verify product quality against technical documentation and other requirements.
  • Accurately document test results, report non-conformances (NCMRs) and assist in root cause, troubleshooting, and corrective action processes.
  • Interface with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain test equipment and ensure calibration, cleanliness, and readiness at all times.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality system requirements, including ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
  • Support audits, product traceability, and configuration control processes as required
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
