About The Position

Ferguson is seeking a skilled Quality and Safety Specialist to drive consistent execution of quality management processes and support continuous improvement within the branch. This role is critical in maintaining QMS compliance, monitoring quality metrics, supporting training, and ensuring readiness for internal audits.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of ISO standards
  • Effective coaching and training capabilities
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and coordinate with others

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Quality Management System documents to the current revision and distribute to appropriate personnel
  • Ensure all associates are knowledgeable with regards to the requirements of the Quality Management System
  • Ensure that SP-MR109 (Management Review of QMS) is being followed
  • Responsible for managing data regarding quality metrics
  • Ensure training is being conducted, documented and records maintained
  • Ensure proper work environment and infrastructure is maintained
  • Participate in quality audits as needed
  • Responsible to assure the branch is prepared for internal audits
  • Responsible for responding to non-conformances and opportunities for improvement
  • Communicate quality related issues / concerns to the Area Quality Manager (AQM)
  • Capable of using applicable software systems
  • Other duties may be requested by the Area Quality Manager (AQM) or a member of the Quality Council.
