We’re looking for a Quality & Production Lead to oversee quality processes and support production during the printing, laminating, and slitting stages. This role is the go-to leader on shift—ensuring standards are followed, issues are addressed, and the team stays aligned. Requirements

  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience (flexographic printing preferred)
  • Strong understanding of quality processes and production environments
  • Leadership ability and confidence directing a team
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Basic computer skills (email, data entry, ERP systems)
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EFI Radius
  • Experience with GMP, SQF, or other quality systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead quality and production activities during your shift
  • Perform process audits to ensure operators are completing required quality checks
  • Verify product quality during printing (color, registration, consistency), slitting (width, placement, specifications), and lamination (coat weight, adhesion, oven testing)
  • Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Investigate and document non-conformances; determine disposition
  • Partner with production teams to implement corrective actions (CAPA)
  • Review production schedules and align priorities to meet customer expectations
  • Train and coach operators on quality standards, test methods, and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, SQF, and company quality standards
  • Maintain documentation and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Step in to support production as needed to keep operations running smoothly
  • Ensure consistent execution of quality checks across all processes
  • Quickly identify and resolve quality issues
  • Maintain compliance with safety, GMP, and SQF standards
  • Support production efficiency while protecting product quality
  • Provide leadership, training, and direction to team members
