About The Position

As a Quality & Food Safety (QFS) Sanitation Manager, you will lead quality and food safety sanitation efforts by working closely with manufacturing, plant leadership, and plant employees. You will drive results by ensuring all quality and food safety standards are met in alignment with Kellanova’s policies, procedures, and practices. This is an on-site role at our Jackson, TN manufacturing facility, where your leadership will directly impact production and team success. Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • 7 or more years’ related work experience in quality, food safety, or continuous improvement role
  • HACCP & PCQI certified
  • Frequently demonstrated quality & food safety sanitation experience in a RTE manufacturing environment
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable regulations, GMP and Food Safety standards in accordance with the FDA
  • Strong auditing and assessment skills
  • Strong technical and software knowledge
  • People and process leadership/management experience
  • FSSC 22000 Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or Engineering preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead quality and food safety sanitation programs for some of our most trusted brands, ensuring the Business Unit complies with all quality and food safety laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement through strong operational management and disciplined execution across all products.
  • Partner closely with the Site QFS Director and Business Unit QFS Managers to implement programs and share best practices.
  • Collaborate with Business Unit leadership and plant teams to ensure compliance and identify quality and food safety sanitation and compliance risks.
  • Lead a team of leaders and technicians responsible for quality and food safety in a 24/7 operation.
  • Develop, inspire, and energize the team to deliver high performance and strong self‑accountability through effective people leadership and influence.
  • Maintain high internal and external standards, and lead the coordination, preparation, and corrective action management for annual internal & external audits including regulatory inspections.
