About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate quality assurance, performance improvement, and compliance activities for medical, home care, and contracted services to ensure adherence to quality, safety initiatives, and regulatory requirements supporting the Quality and Compliance Director. Duties also will include data collection, analysis, action plan formation, ensuring a state of survey readiness and ensuring all reporting requirements are met. This role will require travel between the Wilmington and Newark PACE programs as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Two (2) years quality/compliance/performance improvement experience preferred.
  • A combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
  • Healthcare environment experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
  • Action-oriented, customer-focused, with high decision quality and organizational agility.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft product suite and electronic mail/calendar systems.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and prioritize workload.

Responsibilities

  • Manage quality improvement processes to enhance clinical care and outcomes.
  • Coordinate with Quality and Compliance Director to establish effective workflows and documentation.
  • Participate in regulatory surveys and compliance monitoring, developing improvement plans.
  • Develop and implement clinical audit tools and corrective action plans.
  • Lead performance improvement initiatives and assist colleagues with project design.
  • Support process evaluation and root cause analyses.
  • Monitor and analyze infection control data.
  • Prepare monthly quality metrics reports.
  • Ensure grievance and appeals processes comply with regulations and support participant satisfaction.
  • Collaborate on policy reviews and updates.
  • Analyze Participant Satisfaction and HOS-M survey data with Quality Director.
  • Oversee infection control program compliance.
  • Conduct internal audits and reports to maintain continuous compliance.
  • Collaborate on Emergency Preparedness Plan execution per CMS regulations.
