Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality assurance, compliance, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or distribution sectors.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to supply chain and logistics.
Certifications in quality assurance methodologies such as ISO standards, Lean Six Sigma, or similar.
Understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and industry regulations.
Proficiency in analyzing quality data and metrics, with the ability to use this information to drive improvements.
Familiarity with developing and revising quality systems, policies, and procedures.
Ability to identify discrepancies and ensure all standards are met.
Effective in liaising with suppliers, internal teams, and regulatory bodies.
Effective communication and training skills, with the ability to guide and educate team members on quality best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills to address quality and compliance challenges.
Experience in developing and implementing corrective action plans for quality issues.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain quality assurance processes across the supply chain.
Perform inspections, audits, and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and final goods as needed.
Monitor suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Investigate and resolve quality issues or non-conformities.
Report and monitor quality metrics related to supplier and product performance.
Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, certifications, and standards.
Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and ensure processes align with legal requirements.
Prepare and maintain documentation required for audits and regulatory inspections.
Assess and approve new suppliers based on quality and compliance standards.
Conduct vendor self assessment analysis to ensure adherence to contract specifications and regulatory requirements.
Oversee management and resolution of customer complaints related to quality, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
Collaborate with suppliers to address and resolve quality or compliance issues.
Identify risks related to product quality, safety, and compliance in the supply chain.
Implement corrective and preventive action plans (CAPAs) to mitigate risks.
Monitor and report on key quality metrics and trends.
Develop and revise quality policies and procedures, ensuring they align with industry standards and organizational objectives.
Implement and maintain an up-to-date quality management system.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain operations.
Train internal teams and suppliers on quality and compliance standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality audits, tests, and corrective actions.
Prepare detailed reports for management, highlighting quality performance and compliance status.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and evidence.
