About The Position

This position is contingent upon award of contract. SOSi is seeking a Quality and Assurance Engineer to support our government customer in Chantilly, VA. Essential Job Duties include leading quality assurance efforts ensuring reliability and performance of software products throughout the SDLC, developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts, executing automated and manual tests, documenting and tracking defects, establishing QA processes, tools, and methodologies, and ensuring compliance with Sponsor security and quality standards.

Requirements

• Active in scope TS/SCI w/ Poly.
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience using knowledge management and code repositories including, but not limited to, Github, Gitlab, JIRA, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance efforts ensuring reliability and performance of software products throughout the SDLC.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute automated and manual tests.
• Document and track defects.
• Establish QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with Sponsor security and quality standards.
