About The Position

Texas Oncology is seeking a Quality Analytics Nurse (RN) for a REMOTE position to support all Texas Oncology locations, departments, and specialties. This role will focus on various Value Based Care projects. It is a full-time position with Monday-Friday hours (8:00 am - 4:00 pm), with no weekend, call, or major holiday work required. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in nursing or related healthcare, business, or related field preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance, statistical analysis, or health care management.
Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel required.
Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Must maintain continuing education requirements.
Entry level - 0-3 years nursing experience, oncology experience strongly preferred.
Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience, oncology experience strongly preferred.
Minimum five (5) years nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

Oncology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs audits to ensure quality and compliance standards are consistently met.
Assists in meeting regulatory and statutory requirements by providing standardized and customized statistical data.
Responsible for trending, researching, analyzing and maintaining data bases for quality and compliance initiatives.
Provide project support to the clinical governance council and QI committees.
Assists and supports the implementation of practice wide clinical quality initiatives and/or PQE initiatives.
Supports Compliance and Human Resources by assisting in training and in-services.
Assist the sites in peer review and E & M audits and reporting and other audits as assigned.
Variance reporting trending.
Resolution of patient and customer service complaints, tracking.
HIPAA and Compliance training, auditing.
Assists in policy editing and revisions.
Researches and responds to routine and non-routine inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Obtains assistance to resolve complex inquiries, in order to discuss and learn.
Other duties as requested or assigned.
