About The Position

The Quality Analyst advocates for the mission and vision for FMC and our healthcare community while accountable for assisting to improve quality, safety and reduce operational risk exposure through performance improvement processes and meeting regulatory and accreditation requirements. This role may be accountable to facilitate, influence, plan, consult, educate, and help to reduce barriers or support managers and staff as they incorporate principles of continuous quality improvement to multiple quality/risk related functions. Participates in and fosters an approach to continuous performance improvement and proactive risk assessment. Facilitates assistance in developing organized change strategies and plans related to quality and safety. Facilitates coordination of registry and regulatory data to ensure facility compliance and reporting requirements. Actively participates in initiatives and activities to improve CMS Star ratings and other payer quality improvement requirements. Serves as a change agent by collaborating with other departments, frontline staff, and others to influence change and the improvement of quality and safety. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) tools. Proficient in using various data sources to query data and the ability to create reports or analysis which turn that data into clear, accurate and useful information. Excellent at multi-tasking and prioritization of tasks; and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 3-5 years experience in healthcare, process improvement, quality improvement, registry or analyst experience is a plus.
  • Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible up to 10 pounds amount of force often.
