As a Quality Analyst Sr within QC - Originations organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Kalamazoo, MI; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; or based within the PNC footprint. Standard hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. EST – 5:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. Preferred systems knowledge: ACBS, CLASS, Tableau, CapitalStream, and DNA. It is preferred to also have a working knowledge with Commercial Booking and/or Quality Control review of Commercial loans. The Production Quality Analyst Sr is responsible for providing independent quality oversight, risk support, and continuous improvement leadership within the Quality Control Organizations (QCO). This role serves as a trusted subject matter expert (SME), ensuring operational work meets established quality standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while supporting strong risk management practices. The Production Quality Analyst Sr partners closely with line‑of‑business leaders, risk partners, and other QCO teams to identify control gaps, assess control effectiveness, and execute process improvement initiatives. In this role, the Senior Quality Analyst conducts complex quality reviews, analyzes trends, and delivers actionable insights that reduce rework, mitigate risk, and improve overall performance. The position supports the remediation of open issues and matters, contributes to audits and exams, and manages projects or special assignments as needed. Additionally, the Senior Quality Analyst plays a key role in mentoring peers, assisting with new‑hire onboarding, and identifying training needs across the department. This role is expected to exercise sound judgment, influence outcomes without direct authority, and maintain strong attention to detail while balancing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Assists in the execution of a quality control program within a defined department of the organization.
  • Under supervision, enables adherence with quality management programs.
  • Assists in the execution of the quality program, identifying opportunities for enhancement where applicable.
  • Supports the development and continuous improvement of the quality management system.
  • Generates reports for distribution to various users in the organization, customers, or suppliers.
  • Leads quality improvement initiatives; works to develop and improve quality levels; provides training, coaching and feedback.
  • Provides conclusions and recommendations for issues and/or continuous improvement projects.
  • Conducts quality analysis; identifies systemic issues, executes on effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Supports the development of quality assurance strategies, processes, guidelines and control plans which assure quality and reliability of products and services.
  • Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
