About The Position

Sidus Space is seeking a Quality Analyst to support the continuous development of our Quality Management System (QMS) and help ensure customer satisfaction across our aerospace manufacturing operations. This role partners closely with the Quality Management team on internal auditing, procedure updates, cross-functional quality support, and data analysis/reporting. The selected candidate will work onsite in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; undergraduate degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of QMS experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • ISO 9001/AS9100 QMS experience required.
  • AS9100D Internal Auditor Training Certification required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with supervisors, peers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Accurate documentation and record-keeping in written and electronic formats.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify root causes, trends, or discrepancies.
  • Strong attention to detail — recognizing differences, similarities, and process deviations.
  • Sound judgment evaluating information against regulatory and quality standards.
  • Ability to estimate time, cost, and resource requirements related to quality activities.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel required for data analysis/reporting).
  • Skilled in researching and gathering information from multiple sources.
  • Experience compiling, coding, categorizing, and auditing data.
  • Working knowledge of QMS software/tools (Net-Inspect, SharePoint, JIRA).
  • Ability to travel <10%
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Quality Management to schedule, conduct, and lead internal audits.
  • Represent the company during on-site surveillance audits and customer visits/audits.
  • Utilize the CAR/RCCA system to support corrective and preventive action processes.
  • Review and update quality procedures and documentation as applicable.
  • Support Inspectors in reviewing customer deliverables for conformance.
  • Compile, record, and report job/project quality performance to the Quality Manager.
  • Monitor and support the Nonconformance Report (NCR) process across functions.
  • Support Supplier Quality monitoring and documentation.
  • Compile and report quality metrics and KPIs.
  • Provide general support to the Quality team as workload requires.
  • Contribute to a respectful, collaborative team culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
