Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in underground utility construction, gas pipeline, quality inspection
- Strong expertise in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action processes
- Advanced knowledge of PHMSA, OSHA, and DOT regulations and Operator Qualification (OQ) requirements
- Proven ability to interpret quality metrics, audit results, and risk management principles
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital quality reporting applications
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with contractors and regulatory bodies
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Responsibilities
- Lead quality audits and inspections within gas operations according to the Audit Frequency Plan
- Analyze audit data to identify trends, operational risks, and improvement opportunities
- Develop and update quality documentation, procedures, and technical standards
- Mentor and coach Quality Advisor I team members on field standards and skill development
- Verify compliance with regulatory requirements (DOT, OSHA, PHMSA, EPA) and company policies
- Partner with operations and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
- Report findings and mitigation strategies to management and leadership
- Perform other tasks as requested by leadership
