Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience in underground utility construction, gas pipeline, quality inspection
  • Strong expertise in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action processes
  • Advanced knowledge of PHMSA, OSHA, and DOT regulations and Operator Qualification (OQ) requirements
  • Proven ability to interpret quality metrics, audit results, and risk management principles
  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital quality reporting applications
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with contractors and regulatory bodies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Responsibilities

  • Lead quality audits and inspections within gas operations according to the Audit Frequency Plan
  • Analyze audit data to identify trends, operational risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Develop and update quality documentation, procedures, and technical standards
  • Mentor and coach Quality Advisor I team members on field standards and skill development
  • Verify compliance with regulatory requirements (DOT, OSHA, PHMSA, EPA) and company policies
  • Partner with operations and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
  • Report findings and mitigation strategies to management and leadership
  • Perform other tasks as requested by leadership
