About The Position

The successful candidate for this role would be responsible for interpreting complex data and translating it into information used to inform business decisions. The QA Admin will work with the Improvement Request Report (IRR) process, the Quality Action Report (QAR) process and the Sales Order Deviation process. This position will collaborate with team members and management to ensure more efficient business decisions based on quality control and accuracy. Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • One or more years’ experience with a manufacturing facility.
  • Excellent reasoning skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Accurate and complete assignments on time with little supervision.
  • Must take initiative and be a self-starter.
  • Knowledge of galvanizing quality, on-grip process, and quality as well as acceptable manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily IRR, QAR, and Sales Order Deviation processes to ensure issues are tracked, reviewed, and resolved efficiently.
  • Route issues for review, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
  • Keep production moving by updating sales orders and travelers to support accurate, on-time delivery.
  • Strengthen quality and efficiency by auditing production processes and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with teams to develop clear Standard Operating Procedures and training materials.
  • Ensure product accuracy by reading drawings and travelers and verifying specifications.
  • Inspect grating using precision tools and uphold strict quality standards.
  • Address non-conforming material through documentation, communication, and corrective action support.
  • Apply NAAMM standards consistently to maintain product integrity.
  • Continuously evaluate processes and contribute ideas that improve performance and quality.
