Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or five years business experience preferred.
  • Retirement plan experience helpful as well as a comprehension of basic investment vehicles and general market terms.
  • FINRA Securities Licensing and PA Insurance Licensing required or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Proven effective communication skills.
  • Proven sales/relationship management ability.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite; data management helpful.
  • Ability to have flexibility in assignments, work with attention to details, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationship calendar for retirement plan accounts, meeting with plan sponsors, reviewing plan review reports, investments, and consulting with sponsors regarding plan design and plan administration issues
  • Facilitate (or coordinate through/with record keeping partners or other services) all participant education, including initial plan transitions and ongoing enrollment and education
  • Track and report monthly sales figures for management including reporting for incoming assets, new revenue and lost business as well as the accounting and management of revenue and assets under management.
  • Contribute in all aspects of servicing Retirement clients as needed.
  • Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
