About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide mental health services to patients in a correctional setting. This role involves comprehensive mental health care, including intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, consulting with a multi-disciplinary team, and providing individual and group therapy. The position is located at the Western Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Saint Joseph, Missouri.

Requirements

• Completed Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution.
• Active mental health professional license in Missouri: Independent LPC or LCSW required.
• Must show current CPR and Basic Life Support certification.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
