About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time LPC or LCSW licensed Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our team at Crossroads Correctional Center located in Cameron, Missouri. The LPC/LCSW Licensed - Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) provides mental health services to patients in a correctional setting to provide comprehensive mental health care, including intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, consulting with a multi-disciplinary team, and providing individual and group therapy.
Requirements
- Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution.
- Active mental health professional license in Missouri: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
- Must show current CPR and Basic Life Support certification.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Nice To Haves
- Two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
