About The Position
At Easterseals PORT Health’s mission is to improve the lives, health and well-being of individuals and families dealing with substance use and mental health disorders. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Mental Health Qualified Professional to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary outpatient therapy and and medication assisted treatment team to provide support to adults and youths in Kinston, NC. Requirements
- A Master’s degree and mental health licensure are required.
- Full or provisional Substance Use licensure or certification: LCASA, CADC or AP/CPSS
- Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel
Nice To Haves
- Dual licensure preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide screening, evaluation, diagnostic assessments.
- Develop with the client treatment goal and person centered plans.
- Provide treatment, after-care, and referral services to adults/children in need of outpatient treatment.
- Provide stabilization and treatment services to mental health and substance abusing clients.
