About The Position

Benton County's Behavioral Health team is seeking an additional Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join the growing Children and Family program. This role involves working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families who require mental health support and treatment. Services provided include individual therapy, family therapy, and group facilitation, utilizing evidence-based clinical practices and adhering to program standards. The QMHP will be part of the Children’s Outpatient team, offering a blend of clinic-based and community-based services through the outpatient, MRSS, and IIBHT programs. The team is dynamic, composed of QMHPs, QMHAs, Care Coordinators, and Peers who are described as energetic, creative, and committed to serving the youth and families of Benton County. Self-motivated, dependable, and organized individuals are encouraged to apply. Supervision for LPC or LCSW licensure is available, along with an annual training budget of $1000 for continuing education.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related field
  • 2 years of related mental health work experience
  • Must be registered as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) with Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) or be able to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted (candidates must have at least 6 months of actual work experience to be considered as equivalent)
  • Valid Oregon driver's license or the ability to obtain
